about us

Valley Healthcare System is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving the Chattahoochee Valley region, incorporating West Central Georgia and East Central Alabama. Established in 1992, we opened in August of 1994 to provide healthcare to the medically underserved communities of Columbus. Valley Healthcare System has grown from one service location to five clinical sites in three counties: Muscogee, Talbot & Harris.

Today we provide comprehensive patient-centered care by meeting each patient’s physical and mental health care needs. Offering prevention & wellness services, dental care, behavioral health care, school – based health, diagnostic services, transportation services, mobile health units, and pharmacy services.

Dr. Asanté Hilts, DrPH, MPH

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Asanté Hilts is a passionate health administrator with over 13 years of community health experience.

Jeff Kirkpatrick

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Kirkpatrick has of 25 years in health care finance and operations. He has held positions as CFO, Director of Physician Operations, Financial Analyst and Director of Due Diligence.

Kimberly Brown-Gullatt, MD

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Brown-Gullatt has served as VHCS’s Chief Medical Officer since 12/2017, after serving in a staff physician role for VHCS since 2011. Dr. Brown-Gullatt has 17 years of experience as a Physician.
